what to eat
tiny pony ✨✨✨✨✨
The Tiny Pony is an absolute fave, day or night there will always be good drinks, great food, and EXCELLENT people-watching. If you are in town for Tuesday night don’t miss karaoke!! Also if you happen to be in town for a night that they have Horse Girl Drag, YOU MUST GO! Very important side note, if there are a lot of people or you’re just feeling a bit over stemzies go sit in the back patio (dog-friendly).
The perfect order - Cherry Lime Ricky (alcoholic Shirley Temple?), Loaded Yuca Fries (w/ Chipotle aioli), Tiny Pony burger.
la copine ✨✨✨✨
The perfect brunch spot up in Flamingo Heights. <3
Must Order- Femme Fatale (french toast: grand marnier custard, sourdough, strawberry maple syrup, strawberries, crème)
C&S Coffee shop ✨✨✨✨✨
This is the local Sunday breakfast spot, I’ve been going here since I was a kid with my grandma, and it’s exactly the same, kitten burger poster and all. It’s definitely the spot if you are just looking for a good diner with the world’s nicest servers. Also, their coffee comes in very random mugs, which is the best game of fate.
The perfect order - House coffee, Avacado Swiss omelet W/ homefries (everything in them), and rye toast.
Sams Indian food ✨✨✨✨
Sam’s is absolutely perf for takeout and has some great vegan options. If you're feeling a bit kookoo bananz try their Curry Pizza, you will not regret it.
The perfect order (according to Kyle the resident vegan) - Veggie Samosas and Aloo Gobhi
Frontier ✨✨✨✨
Frontier is one of our only real coffee shops in town and they def won’t disappoint. IT CAN GET REALLY BUSY!! So just remember this isn’t a Starbucks, this is a drink your coffee and people watch kinda of place. They make a pretty darn good dirty chai and their matcha doesn’t disappoint (just ask for honey or agave, because it is unsweetened, or maybe you like that. idk)
Must try - Avocado Tartine (they also have a GF bread option BBs)
Pappy and Harriets ✨✨✨✨
Pappys is a long-time favorite for a night out! If you get there before dark, make a thing of it and go walk around Pioneer Town. A FEW THINGS TO NOTE: check ahead of time to see if there is a concert playing, and if there is don’t let that scare you, you can still go and grab some food, and even catch a bit of live music if you get there at the right time. However, if you are planning on staying to watch a concert, make sure you buy your ticket ahead of time!
OFF MENU MUST EAT (I mean it, unless you literally can’t because of dietary restrictions, that is the only excuse) - Chilly Cheese Fries
